Surveillance video which was released on Friday shows the suspect in the Atlanta killings leaving the spa where it is believed the first shootings took place.

In the attack, four people were brutally shot at the location and another person was wounded. At the other two spa locations in the Atlanta area, four others were killed. Six of the victims killed were Asian women.
According to another video footage obtained by the Washington Post shows Long spending an hour outside Young’s before entering the spa. After one hour and 12 minutes, he is seen exiting the location and getting into his car before the police arrive at the spot.
Details about the suspect are still emerging. As per the records released to USA TODAY on Friday, it said that Long had been kicked out of his parent’s home the day before the shooting and was “emotional.”
Long had also been recently thrown from his job at a trade show business due to COVID-19, the report said, and he had been disowned by his church.
Atlanta police said they had yet to find out the motive behind it and was too soon to say whether the suspect “specifically targeted” victims. Police said that Long had indicated he committed the shootings because of sex addiction. However, experts have said the killings are inextricably related to racism and hate.
