Black Bear spotted by residents in Framingham, Massachusetts
Animal control officers were looking for a bear on Tuesday after several claimed to have seen the animal passing through the neighborhood in Framingham, Massachusetts.
As per the police, the black bear was first spotted on Spruce Street at around 6:45 a.m., later on Eleanor Road at 6:52 a.m. and last seen at 7:20 a.m. on Knight Road.
SEVERAL REPORTS OF A BROWN BEAR IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS. FIRST REPORTED IN SPRUCE ST AREA AROUND 0645 HOURS. NEXT REORTED ON ELEANOR RD AT 0652 HOURS. LAST REPORTED IN THE AREA OF KNIGHT RD AT 0720 HOURS. ANIMAL CONTROL AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED.

Video shot by one of the residents shows the bear strolling across the street and into a person’s yard.
Both the Animal Control and Environmental Police have been notified and at least three Environmental Police officer were spotted on Knight Road.
Initially it was reported that brown bear was spotted, it was later updated that its black.
