College World Series Finals delayed due to health protocols

The national championship in baseball has been delayed due to health and safety protocols. The team of North Carolina State University which is only three victories away from winning its first-ever championship will have to wait a little longer.

NSC’s Wolfpack was set to play against Vanderbilt starting at 2 p.m. It was to be aired on ESPN 2. The NCAA game will now begin at 3:07 p.m. Eastern time.

Two players were not in Omaha and State is dealing with issues related to COVID-19, reported ESPN.

NC State, who has won against Arkansas, which is one of the top-ranked teams in the country needs just one more win against Vanderbilt to reach the College World Series Finals.

NC State has beaten Vanderbilt once already on Monday.
