Colonial Pipeline also confirmed the same through its tweet, saying, “Thanks to the commitment and dedication of the many Colonial team members who worked safely and tirelessly through the night, Colonial product delivery has commenced in a majority of the markets we service.”
Colonial Pipeline resumed its operation on Wednesday after it was forced to halt after being hit with a cyberattack last week. It is the largest oil products pipeline in the United States. The sudden shut off led to many people in the East Coast and Southeast hoarding and panic buying gas.
