COVID-19 updates: US adults hesitant about vaccination; Pfizer authorised for 12 to 15 year olds by FDA

Herd immunity, as health experts say, is the only way of fighting the COVID 19 Virus and it can only be attained when all the citizens are vaccinated. But with the increasing reluctance among people with regard to the vaccine is coming in the way of the master plan.

According to a poll conducted by The Associated Press – NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, around 34% of unvaccinated Americans are sure they wouldn’t be taking the vaccine and 54% have still not made up their minds.

The vaccination drive, thus, has been seeing a slowdown and to bring back the initial bounce in its steps President Biden called upon six Governors for a virtual meeting, it is his aim that 70% of the Americans are vaccinated by the 4th of July.

Pfizer has been approved by FDA for its vaccine that is to be administered to children of 12 to 15 years of age.
