Enbridge Inc wins against environmental protestors, approved to replace their pipeline
After a long battle against environmentalists Enbridge Inc finally take home their big victory. The Minnesota Court of Appeals has approved the company to replace their Alberta oil sands crude carrying pipeline. Line 3, the pipeline in question had been in place since 1968, overtime it eroded significantly and did not perform favourably.
Vern Yu, President of Liquids Pipelines, Enbridge Inc. said that “After six years of community engagement, environmental review, regulatory and legal review, it’s good to see confirmation of previous decisions on the Line 3 Replacement Project.”
