Firefighters continue to fight Wheaton-Dumont Elevator fire
As fire rages in Wheaton-Dumont Elevator in Clinton, Minnesota, residents have been asked to conserve water to put out the fire, CBS Minnesota reported.
The fire which started on Sunday forced nearby residents to evacuate their homes for several hours within three blocks. The residents were initially asked not to use the water.

City Council Member, Rich Stattelman told MPR News that nearly 75 residents had been evacuated.
As per reports, no injuries have been reported. The sheriff’s office told CBS Minnesota that residents with health conditions have been urged to “take appropriate steps to ensure their safety.”
On Sunday morning, a grain elevator in Clinton, Minnesota caught fire. The fire spread to nearby towers, destroying a nearby building and an office area. Several agencies were called in to assist and firefighters have been working tirelessly to put out the fire.
