Ford’s electric F-150 Lightning launched
Ford’s electric F-150 Lightning launched last night, after its disclosure earlier.
This car is a contender to upcoming cars like the Lordstown Endurance, the Bollinger B2, the Rivian R1T, the Hummer EV Pickup, the electric Chevy Silverado, and the electric Ram.
There is one car that has been getting more attention, the Tesla Cybertruck, which will begin its production later this year. However, this truck is designed for Californians with brains the size of a peanut, whereas, Ford has set up an electric F-150 as something more practical.
The car has got eleven electrical outlets some of them in the “Mega-Power Frunk,” which is one of the weirdest marketing coinages of recent times. This thing will be more than enough to power campsites, as Ford is looking to portray it as a great Overlanding vehicle, but maybe even better for construction.
