Get a chance to win a year of free United Airlines flights after getting vaccinated

United Airlines is now providing its vaccinated MileagePlus members a chance to win a year of free flights in an incentive for people to fly during pandemics.

Constrained demand for travel has stayed consistent during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, now this demand is reaching an inflection point as the vaccination drive starts globally and people are resuming travelling. Therefore, leisure airfares with airlines like Southwest are reaching pre-pandemic prices again, reported CNBC.

Scott Kirby, United’s CEO, claimed in a press release, “ If you’re interested in having your post-vaccination “revenge vacation” but deterred by these steadily increasing airfare costs, look into United’s new “Your Shot to Fly” sweepstakes, which was created to help “incentivize people to get their shot.”

You can even get a chance to win a free round trip or, if lucky, a year of free travel.

In order to avail of the offer, United’s MileagePlus members must upload their COVID-19 vaccine records on the airline’s Travel-Ready Center via its website or app by June 22.

From there, the entire June, the airline will send out 30 pairs of round trip tickets under any class of service to any destination United goes to.

On July 1, the airline will declare the five winners of its ultimate contest prize: the five contestants and their plus ones will get a year of free travel with the airline.
