Google files brief in support of work program for spouses of H-1B holders

Google has issued a legal brief in support of the program that allows the spouses of all immigrants that hold the H-1B visas to work in the US. The brief has also been signed by various leading companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Apple and Twitter.

It is to be noted that most of the employees in the tech industry are not American citizens. Moreover, Google and Amazon were amongst the top sponsors of the said visa, the last year.

The brief is actually for H-4 visa occupants, this visa is issued to the spouses of H-1B holders and consists of 90% women.
