GOP leaders in Virginia appeal to Gov. Northam to abrogate mask mandate
In compliance with CDC’s press release that allows vaccinated Americans to go about their routine without masks or applying themselves to social distancing, the Senate Republican leaders request Governor Northam to take back the Mask mandate.
The news release advices the Governor to follow the science and allow ‘vaccinated Virginians’ to return back to as much normalcy as attainable. It quoted the latest CDC guidelines. The news release was issued by Thomas Norment Jr., Ryan McDougle and Mark Obenshain.
The Governor’s office is, seemingly, already on the move and has started on the procedure suggested by CDC. The latest state policy, however still asserts on all individuals of age 5 and above must have their mouth and nose covered when out and about.
We call on Governor Northam to conform the Commonwealth’s guidance to that of the CDC’s by immediately rescinding his mask mandate. It’s time for Virginians who have been vaccinated to breathe freely once again. pic.twitter.com/XizLb3sdUk
