Here are the songs that made it to the Billboard’s Top 10 last week

Music for some is an escape, while for some the absolute necessity to go about their daily chores. Recent research pointed out that for youngsters today, driving is incomplete without music blaring from the speakers, it is something they associate with car drives. Well, if that is the case, who wouldn’t want to jam to the most popular, the biggest hits of the week?

You don’t need to go anywhere, we bring to you a list of Billboard’s Top 10 for the week from Feb. 22 to Feb 28!

Number 1: Driver’s License by Olivia Rodrigo

A seemingly personal account of heartbreak we can all relate to, presented in a new context. All in all, Rodrigo’s song is refreshing on the ears and catchy at the same time.

Number 2: 34+35 by Ariana Grande

A raunchy track, sure to make all Ariana fans go crazy!

Number 3: Calling My Phone by Lil Tjay Featuring 6LACK

Lil Tjay, in this mournful collaboration with 6LACK, delivers a promise to never return to his ex.

Number 4: Blinding Lights by The Weeknd

The bright, synth-driven electro-pop makes for an insistent listen and it couldn’t have dropped at a better time than 2020.

Number 5: Up by Cardi B

Its upbeat Southern beat is an instant rump-shaker, with the rapper dancing a storm in her glitzy new video. It is touted as the Power Anthem for 2021; the track is tight and all things Cardi B has made herself known for!

Number 6: Save Your Tears by The Weeknd

While fans are convinced this song is a dig at his ex-girlfriend Bella Hadid, one can conveniently keep the history away and enjoy the number.

Number 7: Mood by 24kGoldn Featuring iann dior

The upbeat track with some glum lyrical parts juxtaposed against furious hi-hats and a sun-kissed guitar riff is sure to evoke nostalgia among listeners of pop-punk.

Number 8: Go Crazy by Chris Brown & Young Thug

If the electrifying new music video isn’t a strong enough reason, we don’t know what would be! Directed by Chris Brown and Matt Fuller, the colorful video finds the duo in the midst of an epic house party, replete with signature dance moves by Brown along with cameos by Justin and King Combs.

Number 9: Levitating by Dua Lipa Featuring DaBaby

The new version is the second official remix of ‘Levitating’. The first, featuring Madonna and Missy Elliott, dropped back in August as part of the Blessed Madonna-produced ‘Club Future Nostalgia’ remix album. The original version of ‘Levitating’ appeared on Lipa’s second studio album ‘Future Nostalgia’ back in March of this year. In a five-star review, NME called the record “powerful pop perfection from a star unafraid to speak her mind”.

Number 10: Positions by Ariana Grande

Saucy but also safe, Grande is clearly carving a niche for herself in this genre of songs and we can’t deny, they are quite entertaining!

So what are you waiting for? We got you the list for your next long drive or indoor party!
