America is going to celebrate Memorial Day this year on Monday. Last year, the country was forced to skip Memorial day due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Memorial day is that time for retailers, which is sometimes the last chance to grab shoppers’ attention before they start focusing on outdoor activities. But this time, not every shop is open. And it’s even more unbalanced in the case of government and private services.
Usually, Memorial Day is a bank holiday, so you one won’t be able to access a counter deposit or withdrawal. However, ATMs will be functional.
Also, the U.S. Postal Service does not operate on Memorial Day. UPS and FedEx are also on a day off.
If one wants invest on Memorial Day, cryptocurrencies are the way to go. Since, Wall Street is on a day off as well. The New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, and bond markets are all not functional.
This year’s gathering is probably going to be larger than normal for many people. To eat your favorite meal, one can buy from the grocery stores, as they will be open too.
