Here’s why #freecodefridaycontest trends on Twitter

A free code Friday contest has been organized by Microsoft Major Nelson Promotions. The #freecodefridaycontest is trending on Twitter.

This program will consist of many games that will take place every week on Friday on Twitter (“Free Code Friday”). Also, there might be other Sweepstakes offered periodically at random intervals outside of Free Code Friday on Twitter or the Major Nelson blog. The start and end times and dates for each unique game are informed at the same time through Twitter.

This week again a new game has been conducted and posted about the same on Twitter.

This time the users need to answer the question, “Have you played any of the NieR games before and what is your favorite video game genre?”

The contest will end on April 23 (today) at 2: 00p ET/ 11: 00a PT. Users have to use the hashtag #freecodefridaycontest. Finally, 5 random winners will be chosen who will win a code
