Hundreds relocated, 13 houses burnt as wildfire rages in Arizona
Tiffany Davila, spokesperson, Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management told the press that out of all wildfires in the region, this is the most devastating one. It started on Thursday afternoon and is furled by dry grass and bush. 25% of it was contained by Friday morning.
The fire has spread through the mining town of Baghdad which is 90 minutes from Prescott, westwards. It has taken its toll on about 150 acres of land space. About 13 house bore the brunt among 12 other structures that got destroyed in the spur fire. Power and phone lines in the region have been halted for safety.
