US President Joe Biden, who traveled to Philadelphia on Friday to mark Amtrak’s 50th anniversary, posted his speech on Twitter, while he addressed the crowd in Philadelphia. His tweet read, “Join me at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station as we celebrate Amtrak’s 50th Anniversary.”

The trip is a part of President’s “Getting America Back on Track Tour” that the White House is holding to promote spending plans that Biden spoke about in his speech during the joint session of Congress on Wednesday.
During his time as a senator, Biden earned a reputation for regularly traveling to Amtrak from Delaware to Washington, D.C. A tradition he continued even after becoming the vice president, and gave him the moniker “Amtrak Joe.”
Before leaving Washington, Biden tweeted on Friday, “This is a birthday I certainly wouldn’t miss. Looking forward to celebrating Amtrak’s 50th in Philadelphia later today.”
