Journalist Ken Klippenstein pranks Republicans with tweet

Journalist Ken Klippenstein tricked eminent Republicans, such as Congressman Matt Gaetz, Matt Schlapp, and Dinesh D’Souza, on Memorial Day, by retweeting a military portrait of Lee Harvey Oswald, former US President John F. Kennedy’s assassin.

Known for his political trolling, the journalist tweeted on his twitter handle and urged all the men to retweet a military portrait of Oswald under false pretenses.

He tweeted along with a photo of Oswal. His tweet read, “Congressman, my grandpa’s a big fan of yours and is a veteran, he would be thrilled if you could RT this photo of him for Memorial Day. Here he is as a young Private First Class,”

Gaetz retweeted his tweet with an American-flag emoji in the caption.

Whereas, Matt Schlapp’s tweet read, “Wow @kenklippenstein it’s my honor to retweet the photo of a veteran on a day we remember his fallen friends. God bless your grandfather.”

Some of the Twitter users trolled the Republican Congressmen for falling for the prank.
