Kamala Harris on importance of infrastructure for the American Jobs Plan

Vice President, Kamala Harris, tweeted today about the American Jobs Plan’s aim to make a more lucrative economy by creating more jobs in the U.S. economy.

This time it is Biden’s infrastructure plan that’s in focus.

Last week, Biden had recommended a big infrastructure proposal funded by an increase in the corporate tax rate to 28% and an expanded global minimum tax set at 21%.

As the pandemic had demonstrated this year, the lack of infrastructure use had caused many workers to lose their source of bread and butter. Good infrastructure is the foundation of a good economy, the American Jobs Plan hopes to use this opportunity to boost the number of jobs through better infrastructure.

And that is exactly what Harris is advocating as well.

Infrastructure is the foundation of a good economy. And when we invest in infrastructure, we create good jobs. That's exactly what the American Jobs Plan will do.
