“Science is back in the White House,” tweets Vice President Kamala Harris.
Harris is the daughter of a scientist, and is familiar with the powers of science and appreciates the same.

President Biden when came into office highlighted the importance of science to his administration by appointing a White House Science Advisor and also elevated the role at the cabinet-level.
Biden administration has given priorities to a number of foreign policy that is science-related. Climate change, developing early cautionary signs for the next pandemic, and preventing terrorism by mass destruction weapons – all issues needs consistent attention which can be provided by science.
It is clear that the current administration will give climate change greater importance than Trump’s administration as they had pulled the U.S. out of the 2015 Paris climate accord. Climate change will be dealt, with the help of science.
No nation or region is immune to climate change. So as a global community, it is imperative that we act quickly and together to confront this crisis.
