Kylie Jenner faces backlash for asking fans to donate for makeup artist’s surgery; Trends on Twitter
Kylie Jenner was declared a “self-made” Billionaire by Forbes back in 2019; drawing a whopping $1.2m for just an Instagram post! While that might or might not hold true today, she is still a multi-millionaire and that’s what has drawn the flak.
One of her makeup artists, Samuel Rauda is reported to have been seriously injured in a car accident last weekend and underwent surgery on March 14. His family has set up a ‘GoFundMe’ page to get people to help them in their difficult times. Kylie took to her Instagram story and posted a picture of his, with the caption: “May God watch over you and protect you @makeupbysamuel. Everyone take a moment to say a prayer for Sam who got into an accident this past weekend. And swipe up to visit his families’ go fund me.”
Ever since fans have been in disbelief and rather furious because of this, saying she could easily fund it with her money and moreover, she’s said to have shelled only $5000 dollars herself. People increasingly took to Twitter and slammed her for that, so much so that she’s made it to the trends and not for the right reasons. Here’s what the fans had to say:
