Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett to perform one last time in New York

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are set to share the stage for a two-day concert titled “One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga” on August 3 and August 5 at Radio City Hall in New York, announced reps for the two singers announced on Monday. 

The concert is organized to celebrate Bennett’s 95th birthday. In an interview, earlier this year, it was revealed that Bennett was diagnosed with dementia five years ago. The concert’s titled “One last time” to celebrate long-time friends and collaborators, Gaga and Bennett’s last show together.

 “I am so honored and excited to celebrate Tony’s 95th birthday with him at these special shows.” Gaga tweeted. 

All ticketholders will be required to show proof of vaccination. No cellphones, cameras, or recording devices will be allowed. According to a tweet by Radio City, upon arrival, all phones and smartwatches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the event.  

Darren Pfeffer, executive VP of life at Madison Square Garden Entertainment told the magazine Variety, “We couldn’t be prouder to host such a special engagement with two of the most iconic entertainers of our time.” 

“Both Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are synonymous with New York City, making the great stage at Radio City Music Hall the perfect place to honor their decade-long friendship and celebrate Mr. Bennett’s 95th birthday,” he further added. 

Presale tickets for the concert will go on sale July 21 at 10 a.m. on Citi Entertainment and general ticket sales will begin the following day at 10 a.m. on Live Nation. 

According to Variety, the duo previously performed two shows at Radio City Music Hall in 2015. Their second album, a successor to the 2014 Grammy Winning album, Cheek to Cheek
