Man accused of plotting a mass shooting at Walmart arrested in Texas
AuthoritiesĀ arrested a man blamed for plotting to complete a mass taking shots at a Walmart, and a pursuit of the presume’s home turned up guns, ammo and materials authorities portrayed as “revolutionary philosophy stuff.”
Coleman Thomas Blevins, 28, was arrestedĀ Friday in Kerrville and has been accused of making a “terroristic danger to make public dread of genuine real injury,” the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office said in a news discharge Sunday.
Agents said they caught a message from Blevins on Thursday demonstrating he was “planning to continue with a mass shooting,” and that the danger included Walmart. Blevins was arrested the following day.
Specialists looked through his home and, as indicated by the delivery, “guns, ammo, electronic proof, concentrated THC, and revolutionary philosophy stuff, including books, signals, and written by hand archives were seized.”
Blevins is on crime probation and shouldn’t have weapons, the delivery said. He was set up for the Kerr County Jail in Kerrville, a city around 70 miles northwest of San Antonio. Prison records didn’t list a lawyer who could remark for Blevins’ sake.
