Mick Jagger laments lockdown life; Ridicules anti-vaxxers in ‘Easy Sleazy’ with Dave Grohl
Mick Jagger has released his new track ‘Easy Sleazy’ with Dave Grohl leaving his fans in surprise. ‘Easy Sleazy’ a surprise collaboration with the Foo Fighters Frontman Dave Grohl, released on Tuesday.
The song touched upon the lowlights of 2020 including the ugly conspiracy theories against Covid-19 vaccine and the ‘Indoor Prison’ during lockdown.

The lyrics of this bassy number ridicules and lashes out at all the conspirators and anti-vaxxers. It goes like, “The Earth is flat and cold/ It’s never warming up/ The arctics turned to slush/ The second coming’s late/ There’s aliens in the deep state.”
I wanted to share this song that I wrote about coming out of lockdown, with some much needed optimism – thank you to Dave Grohl @foofighters for jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with you on this-hope you all enjoy Eazy Sleazy! https://t.co/7FoI5T36aU

Rolling Stone’s lead singer, Mick also takes a dig at the current internet cultural that is on a surge ESPN during the ongoing lockdown due to pandemic.
Mick jokes at the time we spend on our phones, calling out Tiktok’s dance a stupid one and the never ending zoom calls. It goes like, “It’s not all doom and gloom though, as the back-half has Jagger claiming “we’re all headed back to paradise.”
Grohl says that getting back with Mick Jagger is more than a dream come true. He says, “Just when I thought life couldn’t get any crazier… and it’s the song of the summer, without a doubt!”
‘Easy Sleazy’ can be seen as a continuation of Jagger’s previous song ‘Living in a Ghost Town’.
The music video and the song lyrics lament life under lockdown and mourn the hustling-bustling lives we had pre-pandemic.
