Mississippi Abortion case: The Supreme Court to hear case
The widely and passionately talked about case that has been in the papers for months is finally to be tried today at the Supreme Court.
This case has been close to many hearts as could be seen in the demonstrations led by both the factions in the months prior. As Mississippi Att. Gen. Fitch wrote in the brief of the case-“It is well past time for the Court to revisit the wisdom of the viability bright-line rule.”
The case made into headlines because of the sensitive issue of Maternal Health in question. The various laws that bound abortion doctors are put on a stand for scrutiny and hopefully justice, today.
