Police launches investigation after two people found dead in Manlius apartment

Police have started the investigation after two people were found dead in an apartment in Manilus on Monday morning.

The dead bodies were recovered when Police was undergoing their search drive for a missing person, the Manlius Police Department said in a news release.

The investigation started around 8 a.m. Monday when the Police got a call from a woman who asked police for help after her daughter failed to show up at work.

While in search of the missing daughter, officers entered a residence on Hadley Lane, a street along with apartment complexes. Officers found two people dead inside the home, police said.

The names of the dead people are not being released until all family members are notified, police say.

The cause of death is not yet known. The investigation is underway.
