President Joe Biden finally meets Putin at Geneva

The two leaders will be in a closed-door meeting at Villa la Grange, Geneva for about five hours where they will be discussing the issues between the nations and how to compromise and cooperate with each other. For the initial 90 minutes of the meeting, they were joined by Secretary of State- Antony Blinken and Russian Foreign- Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The two leaders will be holding different press conferences after their meetings. According to the Russian President, they have a lot to discuss and he hopes that the meeting would be successful. President Biden, before his departure, said to the press that America will cooperate with Russia should they choose to and if that does not happen, he will respond in kind.

After the initial 90 minute meeting with the top diplomats of both the countries, the leaders have preceded to a bilateral meeting that includes delegates from both countries. After the meetings that lasted three hours, President Putin held his Press Conference where he said that the meeting was constructive, having discussed the issues pertaining cybersecurity, that is, the ransomware attacks in the US.
