President Joe Biden’s first prime-time address to the nation on Thursday

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden will make his first prime-time address on Thursday night “to commemorate the one-year anniversary of COVID-19 shutdowns” held across the nation at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

Jen Psaki, White House press secretary addressed it during Monday’s press briefing. The time or the place where the president will deliver remarks was not mentioned by her.

“He will discuss the many sacrifices that the American people have made over the last year and the grave loss communities and families across the country have suffered,” Psaki said. “The president will look forward to highlight the role that Americans will play in beating the virus and moving the country back to normal,” she further added.
