Robert Aaron Long is charged with murder of eight people in Atlanta-area spas

The 21- years old suspect was arrested after killing eight people most of them being women of Asian descent. The accused, Robert Aaron Long from Woodstock, Georgia, is facing four murder charges over a shooting spree in two spas in northeast Atlanta including four murder charges and one assault in connection to a shooting at a third spa in Cherokee County.

According to a report, Long started open firing at Asian Massage in Acworth killing four people and injuring fifth on Wednesday after attempting the crime he moved to another spa name Gold Spa where he killed four more people and after that, he drove himself to 30 miles in Atlanta.

His intention was to kill more people in the spas of Florida.  According to police Long was a sex addict. ”This was an attempt to take out the temptation,” Cherokee County sheriff’s Capt. Jay Baker said.

Several Asian American lawmakers and experts say that it is hard to believe that he has done the killing for the temptation as recently there have been other reports of attack on Asian Americans.
