Scattered showers and storms will continue to hit Houston till 9 PM

Moisture-rich wind coming from the Gulf continues to flow in to Southeast Texas, with clouds and rain joining along with it.

Houston is experiencing another wave of moderate to heavy rain with isolated thunderstorms.

A Flash Flood Watch will be in place for Houston and nearby areas by 9 PM on Monday. However, if storms take place, the entire rainfall in these areas could be at 2 to 3 inches with alone totals in excess of 6 inches.

It is believed that heavy rain falls on already wet ground and flash flooding are expected.

A 70% probability of rain is forecasted for Monday and 60% predictability is in for Tuesday. People should make sure they keep an umbrella in the beginning of the work week and a couple of isolated showers in the afternoons for the second half of the work week, but most of it looks for dry weather.
