Shooting at Rigby Middle School, Idaho, 3 people injured

With gun violence in the United States at an all-time high, shots broke out today morning at Rigby Middle School in Rigby, Idaho leaving three people being injured. The victims were 1 adult and 2 children, they have not suffered life-threatening wounds and would be recovered soon. Police have confirmed the gunman has been taken into custody.

“Today we had the worst nightmare a school district could encounter. We had a school shooting here at Rigby Middle School, what we know so far is the shooter has been apprehended. There is no further threat to the students”, said Jefferson School District Superintendent Chad Martin said in a statement.

Further details regarding the incident and the identity and motive of the perpetrator are yet to be made public by the law enforcement authorities.
