Shooting in Braintree, two officers injured and K9 officer shot dead

A shooting took place in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts. Two officers were shot, their injuries were not fatal. One of them was hit with a bullet on their arm, the other more severe. The K9 officer was shot and died on duty. It has been reported that the suspect was shot as well, no updates on the severity of injuries.

The incident took place near Commercial Street and McCusker Drive, local police was contacted and the help arrived after several recurring shots were fired. After the ordeal, the suspect fled the scene into the woods nearby, officials secured the location and were on the lookout, now finally caught and in custody.
