Steamship Authority falls victim to a ransomware attack
After the Colonial pipeline fiasco the previous month, another ransomware attack was aimed at the Steamship Authority that controls and administers ferries to The Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, Massachusetts. The authorities informed about the attack on their Twitter and warned people about the delays.
They have also assured people that their IT professionals are working on the problem and it will soon be resolved. The defaulters are yet to be reported. The officials have assured, that they will provide updates on the matter as and when they can.
