The Royal Family posts a series of videos on Twitter, from Prince Philip’s funeral service

A royal funeral ceremony is taking place for His Royal Highness today at Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace. The Duke of Edinburgh, 99-years-old, passed away on April 9, Friday.

Now, the official Twitter account of the Royal Family has posted a series of videos of the funeral services being held.

In the procession, Duke’s favorite songs were played and the royal family members escorted the ‘devoted’ prince’s coffin.

The official account wrote- “As military bands played songs picked by the Duke himself, and a procession of Royal Family members escorted his coffin to the church, Prince Philip was laid to rest Saturday in a funeral ceremony that honoured his lifetime of service to Queen and country…”

The Duke of Edinburgh was laid to rest in the Royal Vault at St George’s Chapel during a funeral that glorified the prince’s magnanimous lifetime service.

The statement said, “Prince Philip was interred in the Royal Vault at St George’s Chapel, inside the grounds of Windsor Castle, during a funeral that honoured his lifetime of service. The Queen sat alone and apart from other members of the Royal Family during a poignant and touching service.”

Prince William and Prince Harry can be spotted following their grandfather. Two brothers are also captured walking next to each other through the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The Royal Family Channel captioned the video as, “Channel Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry, were seen walking together through the grounds of Windsor Castle following the funeral of their grandfather, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, on Saturday.”

The world mourns the loss of His Royal Highness. He will always have a life of eternity in all our hearts.
