People should feel comfortable getting the vaccine, even if health authorities say that there is a chance of a very rare ‘blood clots’ issue, announced the experts at the World Health Organization on Wednesday.
The investigation is for whether the AstraZeneca vaccine is harmful to people or not. There are many European Medicines Agency and Health organizations involved in the investigation, as reported by the experts at the WHO department of immunizations and vaccines.
”I think the reassurance to the public is that regardless of whether or not the committee ultimately assesses that there may be an association between these events and the vaccine, that in any events, these are very rare events,”O Brien said at a news conference.
As the AstraZeneca vaccine is not authorized yet for any emergency use in the U.S. ”The only way out of this pandemic is by vaccination.” he continued
Massachusetts will open the vaccination appointment to all adults in April 19, Gov. Charlie Baker said on Wednesday. Alaska and Mississippi are already vaccinating people who have signed up.
