Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp went down
Popular social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp are down. Multiple users have reported the downtime on platforms and outage tracking platforms have also noted spikes. The social media giant is yet to provide an official response to the complaints. The issues seem to have largely affected users. This has happened in the past as well.
Thousands of users flocked to Twitter to complain and whine about the outage. As a result, #WhatsAppDown, #FacebookDown and #InstagramDown are trending on Twitter. This did not stop people from sharing memes and jokes about it.
Many shared memes about how people were logging into Twitter just to check if others were also facing issues with the instant messaging app.
