US Elections 2020: Google will help to find voting and dropbox locations

This year, the term “how to vote” has been searched for more than any other term in the United States of America. Google has launched various features for people to know how to vote, the locations of voting and ballot dropbox.

Whenever people will search for where to vote on Google, it’ll provide various nearby locations of ballot dropbox.  If they search for things like “early voting location” or “ballot drop boxes near me”, they’ll find details about the locations of the same.

Google Assistance will also provide the details on voting and ballot drop box locations on smart speakers or phones. When they choose the location, they’ll be taken to Google Maps to follow the route and will display estimated time to reach the respective location. The official data is provided by the Voting Information Project which plans to have more than 200,000 voting places available in the country.
